Each year, when the crops ripen, and the shadows grow, the undead awaken from their slumber. Local legend says that the restless undead of All Hallows began in antiquity, before the line of Kings was broken. A time of dark magic, when necromancy was unchecked and those who mastered the occult could rule for lifetimes. The dark magic, born in antiquity continues to reverberate through time. As the sun reaches its midday low, dark things begin their rule of the night.
On the Moor the dead will rise. From the bog they will come. You will need steel and courage to protect yourself. Do you have what it takes to survive?
Event Date: Nov. 1-3, 2013
Location: Hontoon Island, Deland, FL
Price to play: $20 if paid in advance, $25 at the door. Free to NPC.
Registration opens: TBA
Game on: TBA
Game off: 3 am Sunday (approx.), with soft RP, sleep, and packing-up to follow
Prepay: Send Paypal to Wozniak13@yahoo.com
Tents or Cabin: tents
Park fee: none, but donations accepted
Notes: 1) This is tent camping, not cabin camping - bring the appropriate gear.
2) Hontoon Island is, as the name suggests, an island. The only way to and from the island is by ferry. THE LAST FERRY LEAVES AT SUNSET. The park asks overnight campers to take the ferry one hour before sunset, which means you want to aim for 5:30-5:40 at the LATEST. (Otherwise you can't get to the site until 8 am the next day!)
3) Islands get colder at night than the mainland. While daytime temperatures won't be too different than what you're used to, please bring extra blankets and sweaters/coats/whatever, because it may turn very chilly. (Or it may not. Yay Florida weather!)
4) The park does have a small shop, so bring some extra cash just in case you forget your bug spray or run out of snacks or whatever.
